When I was a kid, my mom had a costume jewelry drawer that was filled with all types of fascinating and exotic jewelry.

It was like a treasure chest.  I remember sparkly crystal necklaces, brilliant rhinestone pins, Carmen Miranda earrings, shoe clips and much much more.

I was in Heaven; I could spend hours trying on her things, and enjoying all the beautiful combinations and designs they made.  I still have some of her pieces to this day, and I still look at them fondly.

Fast forward to today and I am still in love with all the beautiful colors, crystals and stones.   I think my favorite stones are  Amethyst, Rose Quartz, and Amazonite.  I also love Freshwater Pearls and Aventurine.  Plain and simple, I love color
